All our guides are certified by the Nepal Mountaineering Association with a minimum of 5 years of professional trekking experience. Many of our senior guides have summited peaks above 8,000m and hold advanced wilderness first aid certifications.

Yes, we conduct a comprehensive pre-trek briefing in Kathmandu that covers route details, safety protocols, altitude acclimatization tips, gear checks, and what to expect each day. We also offer optional fitness consultation for more challenging treks.

We maintain a maximum ratio of 1 guide per 4 trekkers for standard treks, and 1:2 for high-altitude or technically demanding routes. Every group also has a dedicated support team including porters, a cook, and a back-sweeper guide.

Absolutely! If you have trekked with us before or have been referred to a specific guide, we will do our best to accommodate your request. Simply mention your preference when booking and we will confirm availability.

Safety is our top priority. Our team carries satellite phones, first aid kits, portable oxygen, and pulse oximeters on every trek. We follow strict acclimatization schedules, monitor weather conditions daily, and have established evacuation protocols with helicopter rescue partnerships for emergencies.

Yes, all our lead guides are fluent in English. Several team members also speak other languages including French, German, Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese. Let us know your language preference and we will match you with the right guide.

Clip Himalaya is committed to responsible tourism. We employ local staff, use locally-owned teahouses and lodges, and contribute a portion of every booking to community development projects including school funding, trail maintenance, and environmental conservation in the trekking regions.

We offer flexible booking with free date changes up to 30 days before departure. Cancellations made more than 45 days in advance receive a full refund. For cancellations within 30-45 days, we offer a 50% refund or full credit toward a future trek. Please refer to our terms and conditions for complete details.
